THE KICK OFF

Montrealers gathered together at L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel this late October to kick off the Movember 2011 Moustache Season Campaign in fine style. Drinks, canapés, moustaches and a little manly wood chopping out front in the cool, crisp air were just some of the evening’s highlights…

The rustic loft space was decorated in theme with this year’s “outdoor gentleman” motif, featuring large banners and visuals of Mo Bros roaming proud in the Great Canadian Outdoors. Pumpkins carved with moustaches lent a touch of Halloween flavour and added to the festive feeling and cozy and ambiance. 

Special guests included the founder of Movember himself, Adam Garone, along with politician and Movember supporter Justin Trudeau. Both gentlemen gave inspirational and charismatic speeches on the spirit and importance of the campaign, men’s health issues and the battle against prostate cancer. Mo Bros & Sistas from around Quebec gathered to mingle and discuss ideas on how to make this Movember the best it could be, all in all a perfect way to kick things off!
