A month long series of events raising funds for city youth…

What Is Goal?

GOAL is an annual charity soccer tournament to raise money and awareness for the essential medical, legal, and social services offered by the long time Montreal youth organization – Head & Hands.

The GOAL for this event is to raise money for Head & Hands so that they can make sure that Montreal youth have a place to go when they need holistic, non-judgmental support.

What Is Head & Hands All About?

The mission of À Deux Mains / Head & Hands is to work with youth to facilitate their empowerment and to promote their physical and mental health. Through education, intervention and referral, and in collaboration with other organizations, they provide medical, social and legal services and recreational activities to youth of diverse communities, free of charge. They also work with youth to help them define and take their place in their communities and society at large. Their approach is preventative, holistic, non judgmental and respectful of the individual and they work actively to be accessible to marginalized youth.

The basic services of Head & Hands are available to all youth between the ages of 12-25. These Include:

- Medical drop in clinics (twice/week)
- Tutoring programs
- Legal clinics and legal accompaniment services
- Emergency food pantry
- Youth drop in centre
- Street work
- J2K – Jeunesse 2000
- Info and Referral Service
- Young Parents Program (YPP)
- Legal and health workshops
- Counselling services
- Sense Project

What Are We Up To?

Three Monkeys & What’s Really Good™ will be joining forces to put together the Ultimate Soccer Team, the likes of which the world has yet to see… Our GOAL is to both raise money and awareness for this thing and to utterly annihilate the other teams participating off the face of the Earth in this friendly and charitable tournament. In truth… this is just about total domination. We hope you’ll root for our team and cheer us on as we pick bits of the other players out of our cleats (and raise money for a good cause).

We’re pretty excited to be a part of this project and so from May 14th – June 6th we’ll be hosting a whole slew of amazing fundraising events. Below you can find a schedule of everything we have planned for you this inaugural GOAL.
