BETINA LOU

Think Sexy Secretary…

Since the very beginning, Betina Lou has been offering simple and timeless creations, reminiscent of the femininity of the 50′s and 60′s, without ever retracing the past. What makes up the charm of Betina Lou is the discreet details in the clothes. From well adjusted darts to meticulously chosen buttons, the classic character of the pieces combined with modern inspirations help to create new staples for the feminine wardrobe.

The Spring/Summer 2011 collection is in the same spirit… it offers sober pieces inspired by style icons of the past and present. The collection continues to reflect its British influences and to borrow characteristics from uniforms. It includes dresses and tops in silk and cotton dobby, knitted blazer-cardigans and high waisted shorts and skirts. The predominant colours of the collection stay true to the Betina Lou style which concentrates mostly on neutral tones, but the light pink, the khaki and sand are added to the usual palette for the sunnier months. The materials are either plain, with small floral patterns or subtle polka-dots and they are accessorized with antique gold or genuine leather buttons.

Made in Montreal, the collections are mostly cut from natural fabrics imported from Italy, England, Germany and Japan. Launched in 2009, the line quickly reached an enviable place in the fashion industry. Back for its second season at Three Monkeys, Betina Lou has instantly become one of our favourite collections for women!
